Things Keep on growing

 Monday 20th June 2022

After the weekend rain ,  the grass and plants around the station have got a bit of a spurt on. Monday was a bright and warm day ideal for the 6 volunteers who turned up .

Vic has decided to relinquish the job ? of gardener to concentrate on Station duties so out of the remaining volunteers it was a case of who knows about plants ?

Nobody puts their hand up.

So lets all have a go.

The first 2 were Ian and Dave , last year the Yucca looked Yuck , lots of dead leaves should we pull it up , it was close. but give it a year and there were fresh leaves appearing , we got rid of the old leaves and tidied the surrounding area up and moved over to the car park garden.

Peter and Brian were discussing things ?

Before Brian headed over the drive to mow the grass and keep that area looking good.

The other Peter was helping Ian on the station garden .

And the other Peter was strimming the top fence.

Somebody not gardening was Mike undercoating the gates by the kitchen.

I had to go at lunch time , so I will leave it to your imagination what happened in the afternoon.

Dave
