The Layout returns !

 Week Commencing 12th October 2026

Monday

Main job of the day was to bring  `Little Broadway ` back to Broadway. Since the model railway show it had been looked after by the Diesel Department ( Thanks again ).It was on show again on the weekend of the mix traction Gala , where a few different locos crept onto the layout.

Very nice .

3 of us went to collect a flat bed truck at Winchcombe then to Toddington pick up the layout and back to Broadway .

Home again .

Whilst we had the flat bed at Broadway , all of our scrap metal was loaded on to the wagon and on the way back it was deposited in the scrap metal skip.

Killing two birds with one stone as they say.

Ron took Billy out again , both the platform and drive having a liberal amounts of needles on them.

Ian and Kevin were seen in the car park garden removing a dead tree .

Wednesday

Over on platform 2 some wood work has appeared , hard to spot , brickwork on the front carries on .

Kevin on Monday managed to clear the fence of all the bind weed and other vegetation.

Myself and young Dave tackled the bottom corner

Chris has all most finished the top coats on the lamps.

To end the day Ron gave the small garden a trim.

Locos today on the Blue timetable ! were the Bubble car and 2807 .
