Monday 7th June
In preparation for the coming week, it was the clearence and tidy up Broadway gang at it again.
Vic swept the car park area and cleared the beginning of the wall garden.
Brian & Vic sorted out a leak in the ladies loo.
No photo of this.
Brian doing a bit of PR work with a number of visitors who come up to the station.
Peter returning after an exercise of clearing the embankment.
Pat was also recovering after a session with the lawn mowers.
Ian was getting instructions from his wife. OOah.
Mike was painting bits of the Spear Fence
John S and Neal were working on the steps of the footbridge.
There is a lot of trimming required on these tongue and grooved boards.
Back on Wednesday.
Good report of the work being done; looking forward to my visit to the line next month. Any idea when the webcam at Broadway will be back up and running?
ReplyDeleteThe machining on the match boards was to put a V grove joint on the inside. This was missed when they were made.

Is the camera working ?
ReplyDeleteNow back from the sickbed and trying to catch up, good to see the progress with the footbridge, it seems to be going great and the workmanship is superb. My son sent a comment that the camera is not working last week and it is still not working today, is there a bigger problem with it than we think? last time I saw it working was bank holiday Monday when your clever carpenter was packing up very late in the day! When I eventually get to you I must make sure he gets extra jam doughnuts. Sorry I cant get there at the moment but keep up the great work, thank you to you all.

Has the camera been removed ?
ReplyDeleteWe have a visit from the PAT boys , they switch of the cameras , router, computer etc to test, then when switched back on they don't sent information to the web site. I didn't spot it until I went on holiday , too late to do anything about it . sorry . now back and the cameras should be working .
