Monday
Bit short on numbers this week 3 on Monday and 3 on Wednesday !
Kevin was helping Neal and his fellow workers with a bit of riveting , that's Kev up on the boards in the orange .Something different for Kev.
Nothing different for Chris seen deep in the undergrowth in the car park garden.
A visit from the railways weed killing train .
Wednesday.
Over on platform 2, Riveting and brick laying continues .
Monday saw us getting " Little Broadway " ready for its trip to Toddington to be shown at the Model Railway Show . Everything was cleaned up and everything needed was packed away. it was to be transported to Toddington on train 2 . It did cause quite a stir being out on the platform .
Would it fit through the doors ? Only just another 1/2 inch and we would have had to call the whole thing off.
We made it, Ian and Kevin check everything is in one piece , It survived and now the long carry to the diesel shed where we will be over the weekend.
Real trains out today were Betton Grange and the Black 5
As I mentioned we will be in the Diesel Shed this weekend , come and have a chat and see Little Broadway in action.
