What type of paint do you use for platform edges? I need to paint the edge of my drive where it drops away to my neighbour’s.
ReplyDeleteSurely ‘GWR’ is an appropriate ‘brand’ for a site on which so much effort has been made to a achieve a 1904 structure and ambience. While such detail changes are well meaning, any changes that affect appearance of the station should be subject to the approval of a heritage committee that oversees development across the whole railway. The current free for all will gradually erode all the good work that goes on, as well as original heritage assets.

This update highlights the steady teamwork and maintenance work that keeps the station looking its best for visitors and the upcoming season. From tidying the drive and maintaining the gardens to finishing the platform edge and spear fencing, every task contributes to improving both appearance and safety around the station. The track bed clean-up and ongoing Platform 2 work also show how much effort goes on behind the scenes. It’s great to see volunteers continuing to develop new skills through brush cutter and strimmer training as well — proper training is essential for safe and effective grounds maintenance. Consistent outdoor upkeep, fencing care, and landscaping improvements are key to maintaining attractive public spaces, much like professional fence maintenance and property improvement services help keep outdoor areas clean, safe, and visually appealing.
