Wednesday after the Gala

 Week Commencing 27th May 2024

Wednesday

Back to it for the Four of us , after the Gala weekend , If you attended hope you enjoyed yourselves.

Nothing happening on Platform 2 , word on the street is that there could be a concrete pour next Monday !

After the weekend down came the Gala poster and then up with the next event , which is the Real Ale Festival on the 14th to 16th June.

Ian was seen getting his hand in early.

The Strimmer's were out at the edge of the grass on the drive way , Brian and Ian on the job.

Pat was cutting the undergrowth around where we have the bonfire .

Lots of large weeds pulled out down the edge were collected by Dave and took to the ever growing Bonfire.

Good job Pat is mechanically minded as all the machines need constant Maintainace !

The grass on platform 2 was also getting attention , Pat was again stimming below the spear fencing.

2 Locomotives staying over from the Gala were on duty today.
